The Bobcat golf team hit the links in Thedford last Thursday on a chilly day for some of the best golf they’ve played all season.

Three of the five players set new season records for themselves - Joey Sallach improved his season best score by 4 points with 95 strokes; Harper Johnson shot 100, nearly 10 strokes above his season best; and Grant Hrupek cut 2 strokes off his previous season best with a total of 104.

Dawson Doggett had 101 total strokes and Brady Brestel shot 110, to round out the team.

Sallach finished in 10th place, the first top-10 finish for the Bobcats this season. The team scored 400 combined, putting them in 4th place out of 10 teams. This is the best team score for the Bobcats so far this season, showing great improvement over previous weeks.

The team has a busy week ahead with conference (MNAC) golf on Thursday at Mullen, and on Friday a varsity meet at Overton and a JV meet at Mullen.
