Thank You For Reading For Six Years

Body
Six years. In the spring of 2017, I was given the opportunity to write a column for a local newspaper. While I had dreamed of the opportunity years earlier, I was tentative with my submissions and unsure of my ability. It is hard for me to believe that I’ve been writing this column for six years, which equates to close to 300 submissions. I am so grateful for the opportunity and have learned a few things along the way.

CEDC Addresses Area Housing Shortage

Body
Custer Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) plays an important role in supporting the economic growth and development of Custer County. We strive to be a valuable resource for businesses and individuals looking to start, grow, or relocate to the area. However, one of the biggest challenges for business owners and employees is finding a place in Custer County to (literally) locate. CEDC has identified this as a key issue influencing the shortage of workforce in our area and has prioritized housing development as a result.
