Hello again. This former ink-stained wretch has been finished with “Meanderings” for some time but after the thorough stoning received in recent storms we are compelled to comment.

In Gothenburg, we are not unlike many other communities in the challenges we face.  Having been involved in economic development efforts in my community and many others, I know firsthand the issues faced by community leaders when it comes to business retention and expansion, housing, and – certainly not least of all – early childhood education.

Cool, Stallbaumer, Martin Earn State Accolades

Twelve Lady Bobcats headed to Burke Stadium in Omaha for the Class C NSAA State Track and Field Championships May 20-21 with three returning home with hardware in tow. 

Reagan Cool battled a tough field of pole vaulters as 12 of the 19 competitors cleared 10 feet, the height that Cool reached last  year for fourth place.
