Each Friday during Lent, the Knights of Columbus groups from across Custer County invite everyone to join them for their weekly Fish Fry. Last week’s fry, on March 10, was held in Callaway at the Community Center, and as always there was a large turnout.

Not only do folks from Callaway attend the fry, but so does a large contingency of residents from the other communities throughout the county. In fact, many people attend the fish fry each week in whichever community is hosting. Not only does the fish fry provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some great food, it also allows us to come together as Custer County residents.

The remaining schedule is as follows: Anselmo on March 17, Sargent on March 24, and Ansley on March 31.
