Custer County 911 Calls

The following are 911 calls made to Custer County Communications from the Callaway/ Oconto area Nov. 18 - Dec. 1. “RP” is an abbreviation for “Reporting Party”.

Nov. 19 - Highway 21, Oconto; caller reported a lot of cattle out. Dispatch made contact with Custer Feeder.

Nov. 21 - Pressey East Rd, Oconto; caller reported an injured white tail deer. Nov. 23 - 211 E Kimball, Callaway; alarm company advised of a security alarm at the facility. Administrator was notified, who advised everything was ok.

Nov. 25 - A call was received from West 6th Street in Oconto. The receiver could hear people talking but there were no sounds of distress. The call was ended and the number was called back.

Nov. 26 - A call was received from N Holcomb Street in Callaway. The RP stated his 58-year-old girlfriend was not breathing and was cold to the touch. Callaway rescue was dispatched.

Nov. 26 - A call was received from River Rd in Callaway. The RP stated there were five to six heads of red/white face and black cattle on Callaway River Road.

Nov. 29 - A call was received from East 8th Street in Oconto. The call was deemed an accidental dial.

Dec. 1 - A call was received from Highway 21 in Oconto. The caller reported a black cow on the road.
