The following is a record of 911 calls received by the Custer County Sheriff’s Department from Sept. 9 - 15, 2022.
Sept. 13 - Caller requesting a coroner on Burnham Street in Callaway. The call was placed by Mark from Callaway Rescue 99.
Sept. 13 - A call was received regarding an animal on North Davidson Avenue in Callaway. A woman called and reported that her dog was killed by pitbulls.
Sept. 14 - Caller reported animals on the roadway on Cozad Road in Callaway. The caller stated there was anywhere between nine and 10 head of black cattle with blue and yellow ear tags on the road. Dispatch contacted a possible owner when informed that it looked like the cattle had rubbed open the gate to their field.
Sept. 15 - Open door and alarm on East Main Street in Oconto. The caller was notified that his home invasion alarm was activated and called the police.
Sept. 15 - Caller reported keys being locked inside a vehicle on North Needham Avenue in Callaway. The caller requested their vehicle be unlocked and told the police that no one would be home at the time of unlocking.
