On Thursday, June 23 from 7:30 a.m. till about noon, Tour de Nebraska will be passing through Callaway. The Chamber is anticipating 400 bikers to pass through and they will be looking to eat!

The museums will be open for the cyclists to tour, and the four local eating establishments will be open. The bikers will travel from Callaway on to Oconto and then back to Broken Bow that evening.

It is already a busy weekend in Callaway with the kick-off of the Pioneer Picnic on Friday. Guthard explained that this event is just one more opportunity to show off what a special community Callaway is.

The Chamber is also sponsoring an event to promote maintaining and keeping up your yard during the summer. Residents are asked to submit your nominations for the Best Yard Contest to Stacey or Kelsey at First Interstate Bank, from now until July 10 for the July Winner. A winner will be selected once a month based on the number of nominations received. The winner will receive $25 in Chamber bucks.
