The Callaway American Legion Auxiliary has announced the winners of the Americanism Essay contest. The winners were awarded a certificate and monetary gift, and will advance to the state competition in their respective classes.

Class I

4th Grade:1st - Lane Hogg – State; 2nd - Gabe Stutzman; 3rd - Lauren Reiff

Class II

5th Grade:1st - Gracie Brennan; 2nd - Jacob King; 3rd - Remi Flynn

6th Grade:1st - Emma Stallbaumer – State; 2nd - Chloe Bloomer; 3rd - Olivia Fitzgerald

Class III

7th Grade:1st - Charlie Pandorf; 2nd - Taytum Wiese; 3rd - Caden Pandorf

8th Grade:1st - Connor Paulsen - State; 2nd - Neltje Reiff; 3rd - Kaygen Witthuhn

Class IV

9th Grade:1st - Carleigh Laible – State; 2nd - Dawson Mason; 3rd - Addison Bailey

Class V

11th Grade:1st - Karina Jennings; 2nd - Lauryn Johnson; 3rd - Jasmyn-Rae Ledit

12th Grade:1st - Sophia Doyle - State; 2nd - Heidi Donegan; 3rd - Bryant Leeper

Class VI:1st - Beth Krun – State; 2nd - Allison Trumbull
