Callaway Chamber Hosts Security First Bank Ribbon Cutting
In April 2026, Security First Bank announced that it had officially completed its acquisition of 11 Nebraska branch locations from First Interstate Bank, including the Callaway branch. The bank began operating as Security First Bank on April 13, 2026.
On Thursday, July 9, the staff hosted a ribbon-cutting and open house for the Callaway bank. “Our team remains committed to providing the same personal service customers expect, along with products, services, and local decision-making to support individuals, families, and businesses in the area,” said Stacey Guthard, Vice President, Security First Bank of Callaway.
A good crowd of community members, local business people and Chamber of Commerce representatives joined the bank team last Thursday to cut the ribbon.
Today is a great day for Callaway as we welcome Security First Bank into our community,” said Chamber President Kayla Berg during remarks at the event. “This new branch represents more than a building - it reflects confidence in Callaway's future and a commitment to the people who live and work here. To the Security First Bank team, thank you for investing in our town and bringing new opportunities for local families and businesses.
And to everyone gathered today, your support is what keeps our community strong.”
Following the ribbon cutting a free hot dog lunch was served by the bank staff, along with root beer floats.
