Second Annual Gospel Fest This Weekend

All are invited to the second annual Nebraska Gospel Fest in Callaway May 1-3.

The event will feature Bible preaching, Bible teaching, and musical worship, from Dean Haidle, James Michael Rainey, Mike Garner, and Jacob Wayne Gordon. Special guests will also be sharing throughout the weekend. They include Jim McComas, Roger Duncan, Jr., Stan Cook, Dennis Cagle, and Sam & Riley Wiehle.

The second annual Nebraska Gospel Fest will be held at the Callaway Community Center beginning at 7 p.m. both Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, and at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 3. Each service will last 90 minutes. Saturday will also feature a youth service at 7 p.m. A free meal will be provided on Friday and Saturday evening at 5 p.m. for all who attend.

New Library Hours

Effective Friday, May 1, the Nigel Sprouse Memorial Library in Callaway will shift its Wednesday and Friday hours to 2-6 p.m. Other normal hours are Mondays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The changes to two mornings and two afternoons, and one hour later, are being made to accommodate patrons who have been unable to access the library during the previous, earlier hours. Patrons are encouraged to come in and see the other changes, rearrangements, and additions to the collections that librarian Karen Snider has been making. And remember that the library does rent out folding chairs and banquet tables for events.
