The Legion Auxiliary meeting was held at the American Legion Hall on April 18, 2022, at 6:30. We opened in normal procedure with the prayer by Joyce Brestel, Star Spangled Banner, Pledge of Allegiance and our Auxiliary Preamble, all led by Deondra Lashley. We read the minutes of the last meeting. MaryAnn read the Treasurers report and everything stands approved.

MaryAnn had a bill for the items we will pass out to the kids on May 2. Jo made a motion and Joyce seconded, to pay the bill. The children and youth items will be given out at the same time. For Americansim, the first three places will receive monetary gifts.

Poppies will be passed out to the public on May 20 from 10 a.m. to noon. The alternate rain day will be May 27.

The junior convention was a success. Three members attended. They said the lunch was unbelievable.

The Draping of our Charter was performed for the members which we lost last year.

We will need to choose a date to walk the cemetery to make sure all markers are in the correct place. We need to make note which Vets markers will need a holder for the wreath.

Taylor Ross is our Girls State Representative, we have received word that she has been approved to represent Callaway at State.

Our meeting was adjourned in regular manner.

Sincerely, Eileen Wilson, Secretary
