The Custer County Jail had three male and no female inmates as of Feb. 9, 2026, according to Custer County Sheriff Dan Osmond.

Lawrence Allen Millspaugh - Booked Sept. 26, 2024, awaiting trial on two counts of 1st degree sexual assault of a child and two counts of cruelty toward a child. There is no bond.

Jeffery Bruce Plumb - Booked Aug. 11, 2025, awaiting trial for felony possession of a controlled substance. No bond has been set.

Nathan Thomas Vostrejs - Booked Jan. 30, 2026, serving sentence on a charge of violating a restraining/ protection order.
