Tickets are now on sale for the Callaway Community Foundation Fund’s “Heart of the Seven Valleys” Gala to be held on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. This will be a great night to get out and ‘show some love’ for the Callaway community, its great non-profit organizations and especially for your valentine with dinner, a chance to take something home from the auctions and to just have a good time.

Tickets for the event are available in advance for $40 per person or $320 per eight-person table. On the day of the event, the price increases to $45 per person or $360 per eight-person table. The event is cash or check only.

A Coffee & Dessert Bar will be held on Sunday, Jan. 8, from 2-4 p.m. at the Callaway Senior Center in celebration of Natalie G’Schwind. She was chosen to attend the Poetry Internation Festival in Rotterdam this year! Natalie will present a performance of her poetry at 3:00 p.m. The event is a Free will donation with proceeds going to help fund Natalie’s trip.

There will be a blood drive at the Callaway Community Center on Thursday, Feb. 12, from at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Contact Carol at 308-87-3594 for an appointment. Maximize your blood donation. Help more patients. If you are an eligible type O, B- or A- donor, consider making a power red donation. Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component. Red Cross socks will be handed out at this drive as a gift to you for your donation.
