Callaway First Grade: How to cook a Thanksgiving Turkey
Teacher – Kendra Meyer
Kashton Ortiz: You have to first hunt it and shoot it, then you probably put it on the grill or in the stove.
Then you season it before you put it inside, and then you cook it at 400 degrees for about an hour.
Finn Trout: First you cut the plastic wrap off, then you put it in the oven for a really long time, like 20 minutes or so. Then you take it out of the oven and then eat it.
Leland Keeney: You season it with salt and pepper and then put it in the smoker for 90 minutes at 400 degrees, it has to look golden brown and you can take it out of the smoker. Then you take the turkey broth from cooking it and pour it on top of the turkey. Then you eat it.
Kolt Berg: First you skin the turkey, then you put the turkey in the oven. You cook it for 9 minutes and then you take it out of the oven and get it ready to eat.
Sutton Dvorak: First you buy a turkey at the store.
Then you season it and put it on a pan and then put it in the oven at 400 degrees for, I think like 1 hour. Then we each put it on our plates and eat it with all the sides.
Trevor Thomsen: Well you need to shoot the turkey first and then put it in the big oven for maybe a minute. Then you take it out and take it to your grandpa’s house and eat it there.
Kylee Berg: First you buy a turkey from the store. Then you put seasoning on it and then you put it on the grill and let it cook for like 15 minutes. Then you eat it, that's the fun part.
Breckenn Luebbe:
First you shoot the turkey, then you skin it and then you season it with pepperjack seasoning. Then you put it in the oven for about an hour. Then you take it out of the oven and you eat it.
Grayson Walker Lopez: First you buy it from the store and then you cook it in the oven for a few minutes. Then you take it out and eat it with gravy.
Stormy Duplichan: First you hunt the turkey and then make sure and wash it. I would put the turkey in a pot and then get the stove hot and then put the turkey in the oven at 400 degrees and cook for 7 minutes. Let it cool for one day and then warm it back up for one minute in the oven and eat on Thanksgiving Day.
Brecken Phelps: First you have to go hunt a turkey. Then you have to skin it. Next you inject butter inside it and put seasoning salt all over it. After that, you put it in the deep fryer for about 10 minutes. When the turkey is cooked, you pull the turkey leg off and eat that first. Last, don’t forget to add salt!
