For the second consecutive year Callaway District Hospital & Medical Clinics (CDH) is proud to announce its recognition as one of the Top 20 hospitals in the nation for patient satisfaction by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA). Awards were presented on Sept. 27 in Kansas City, Missouri as part of the NRHA’s annual convention.

The NRHA, a leading advocate for rural health, rigorously evaluates hospitals across the country based on various criteria, including patient satisfaction, quality of care, and community impact. Callaway District Hospital & Medical Clinics has not only met but surpassed these stringent standards, earning its place among the top-performing rural healthcare institutions.

The patient satisfaction index is a rating of hospital performance based on the percentile rank for “overall rating” and “highly recommend” on the Hospital Compare HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) surveys.

“To be on the leading edge of patient satisfaction among nearly 1,400 rural hospitals across the United States is a reflection of the dedication of our entire team to deliver exceptional care,' said CEO Brett Eggleston. 'We are honored by this recognition and will continue to prioritize the health, well-being, and satisfaction of every patient who walks through our doors.”

The Top 20 award underscores Callaway District Hospital & Medical Clinic's ongoing commitment to delivering patient-centered healthcare that meets the unique needs of our rural community. In addition to providing outstanding medical care, Callaway District Hospital & Medical Clinics remains deeply invested in community engagement and collaboration.
