As of April 15, 2024, there were 10 males and one female lodged in the Custer County Jail. County Sheriff Dan Osmond reports the following inmates: Cooper Thomas Brass - booked Feb. 23 on one count of procuring for a minor or mentally incompetent person, a Class 1 misdemeanor, and one count of 1st degree sexual assault, a Class 2 felony. Bond was set at $150,000 Dustin James Farritor - sentenced April 8 on various traffic offenses James Aaron Hendrickson - sentenced on April 9 for obstructing a peace officer, and driving under the influence of liquor.

Clint James Howard - sentenced April 5 for driving under the influence of liquor, 3rd offense, a Class 3 felony.

Rowdy Leon Hunt - bench warrant issued, $5,000 bond Glen Willar Jenkins - booked Aug. 7, 2022, on the following charges: 2nd degree sexual assault, Class 2 felony; burglary, Class 2 felony; driving under the influence of liquor, Class W; driving under suspension, Class 3 misdemeanor; willful reckless driving, Class 3 misdemeanor; abuse of incompetent or disabled person, Class 3 felony Matthew Glenn McAlevy - booked March 9 for driving while revoked, a Class 4 felony, and driving under the influence of liquor, 4th offense or greater, a Class 3 felony.

Wesley Alan Mead - booked May 3, 2023, for 1st degree sexual assault Steven A. Olson - booked March 28 for criminal mischief, a misdemeanor; resisting arrest, a Class 1 misdemeanor; use of a weapon to commit a felony, a Class 2 felony; and terroristic threats, a Class 3 felony.

Timothy Allen Rosentrater - booked Feb. 9 for 1st degree sexual assault. Christina Marie Page - sentenced March 22 for probation violation, a Class 4 felony.
