The Village of Oconto hosted a special Christmas caroling event on Sunday, Dec. 10. While caroling the group delivered food boxes to 15 families.

Drawings of turkey, ham, and pizza were won by Ramona Weatherly, Jan Rempe, Stetson Dittmar, Karen Bomberger, Gaylene Amm, Savanna Holibaugh, Melanie Marshall, Swede Mc Daniels, Dani Eggleston, Dennis Eggleston, Brent Dittmar, Mikayla Heath, David Ledet, Jessica Burnett and Linda Conover all from Oconto.

Other winners included Ramon Johnson from Mason City; Pastor Ryan Findley from Kearney; Deb Gaston from Broken Bow; and Mandy Bosak from Sumner.

Santa was also a visitor and he handed out candy sacks to 15 children. It was a fun event for all
