Callaway District Hospital & Medical Clinics is pleased to announce the appointment of Cassie Penn, MHA as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the organization. With an extensive background in healthcare management and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, Cassie brings a wealth of experience to Callaway District Hospital & Medical Clinics. As COO, she will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospital and clinics, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and implementing strategic initiatives to further enhance the organization's performance.

Cassie comes to Callaway District Hospital & Medical Clinics with 20 years of experience in healthcare management. She holds an associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technician, a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Cassie is also currently working towards a doctoral degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Cassie will replace Caleb Poore who served as the Chief Financial Officer at CDH since 2018. Poore has accepted a promotion and is now serving as the CEO at Boone County Health Center in Albion.
