Callaway Kids Fall Carnival Thank Yous
As we completed our 10th and final year of the Callaway Kids Fall Carnival, we want to thank everyone who attended, volunteered, and donated over the years to this event. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we hope we were able to bring some smiles to the kids of Callaway. We enjoyed the costumes from both the kids and parents. Please stay tuned for this event to hopefully continue as we have talked with another family that might be running it starting next year.
As for this year’s event, we want to thank Kate and Gracie Brennan, Georgia Guthrie, and Doug and Mary Ann Boldt for their help setting up in the morning, and thank you also to those who helped with clean up afterward. Thank you also to the American Legion Auxiliary for providing free hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, and treats.
Thank you to everyone who brought items for the Callaway Food Pantry and for the Cake Walk, which is always a hit with the kids. Thank you to the Oconto Volunteer Fire Department for the use of the bounce house and to the Village of Callaway for the use of the Community Center. Thank you also to the Callaway Courier and Callaway Public Schools for their support and assistance as well.
Thank you so much to all our great student and adult volunteers who helped run the games and activities – we had a lot of help. Specifically, we would thank Suzanne Wendorff, Shirley Trout, Brittany Jesseph, Kate Brennan, Kristen Bailey, Denise Sughayar, Kate Brennan, Suzi Campbell, Bill and Judy Reiff, Tahna, Maggie, Josie, Neltje, Tyra, Aubrie, Tiersa, Jozi, Caleb M, Caleb S, Allison, Anslee, Addie, Brayden, and Natalie. And thank you to anyone we may have forgotten as we didn’t mean to leave anyone out.
Thank you to Thrivent Financial, the Callaway Chamber of Commerce, Cecil Woodward, Ron and Verla Biel, Susanne Longmore, Julie Johnson, Darin Ellis, and any others for their financial and other donations. And finally, and most importantly, thank you to all the kids for coming. We loved having you and seeing you all dressed up for Halloween.
Sincerely, Michael, Erin, Joslyn, Neltje and Lauren Reiff
