Lower Loup NRD 2022 Photo Contest Open
Since announcing the Lower Loup NRD 2022 Photo Contest back in December, the agency has been inundated with a flood of photos. So far, more than 260 images have been submitted by photographers from across the District.
“We’ve been pleasantly surprised by both the number of and quality of the submissions we’ve received so far,” said LLNRD Information Specialist Alan Bartels, who is coordinating the contest. “The contest runs through May 15, 2022. We hope to receive even more images.”
Photos must have been taken within the Lower Loup NRD. A District map is located at www.LLNRD.org. Submissions can include nature, wildlife, agriculture, recreation, people, pets, events and more. Submissions do not have to be recent images. All entries should include photographer name and contact information, and location where photograph was taken.
There’s no fee to enter or limit to how many images can be submitted. Photographers are encouraged to enter their very best high-resolution phone and camera images via email to abartels@llnrd.org by midnight May 15. Photographers retain ownership of their images. By submitting images, photographers grant LLNRD potential use in digital and printed materials.
Winners will be announced in June, and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
