Mary Ross, PT, of TEAM Physical Therapy in Callaway recently completed level 1 certification training on Functional Dry Needling through UNMC. This revolutionary technique uses the skilled placement of acupuncture needles to “reset” the neuromuscular system and restore functional movement patterns of the musculoskeletal system.

Functional Dry Needling (FDN) has been proven highly effective for the treatment of headaches, frozen shoulder, whiplash, tennis and golfers elbow, hamstring strains, limited range of motion, chronic ankle sprains and plantar fascitis, and several other musculoskeletal pain and movement disorders. Twenty- seven contact hours were awarded to Ross for her continuing education.
