Cris Sierks graduated from Callaway High School in 1981. Although she lives near Brewster, Cris drives to Callaway to work as the MDS Coordinator at the Callaway Good Life Center. Cris was diagnosed with cancer in December of 2022 and has since completed radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

A Benefit Dinner will be held for Cris on Sunday, Oct. 8, from 5-7 p.m. at the Callaway Community Center. Smoked pork sandwiches, baked beans, chips, and cookies will be served. All proceeds will go to Cris and her husband Monte to help cover the expenses of Cris' treatments and travel expenses related to her journey through cancer.
