The Bobcat cross country team took a trek out to Chapman for the Palmer Cross Country Invitational last Tuesday - a new meet for the Bobcats with teams they don’t normally get a chance to compete against.

The girls team finished in fourth place with 33 points and the boys team finished in second with 25 points.

Although it is a smaller meet than the Bobcats have been running in this season, they still saw great success and added more medals to their collection.

For the girls, Ivy Tullis finished in 8th place; Ella Cool finished in 10th place; and Gracie Neth finished in 22nd place.

On the boys team, Josiah Coleman finished in sixth place, followed by Logan Recoy in seventh place. Freshman Walter Bierman finished in 12th place and Caleb McFate crossed the line in 17th place. Finally, sophomore Eli Rogers finished in 18th place.

The Bobcats competed in Kearney at the University of Nebraska at Kearney invite on Monday, Sept. 25. This is a large meet with all four classes represented. In Class D, there are more than 200 girls and boys registered. Results were not available by press time.
