Callaway is the place to be on Labor Day weekend! The 32nd Annual Kite Flight will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at Foster Smith Field, located four miles east of Callaway on Highway 40. Saturday night will also feature a “Night Flight” beginning at 10 p.m.

The fun doesn’t end with the Kite Flight, however. On Sunday, Sept. 3, the Seven Valleys Rodeo Association will present the First Annual No Excuse Bull Riding event at the Seven Valleys Rodeo Grounds. The gate opens at 6 p.m, with the performance at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per person. Parking is first come, first serve. Concessions will be available.
