The monthly 4-H meeting was held on April 30, at 7 p.m. at Arnold United Methodist church. Delanie Weinman read the report from the March meeting. Maggie Birkel read the Tail Twisters treasurer report and Riata Remund read the Western Riders treasurer report.

When the meeting ended, a horse meeting was held to discuss the plan for practices and who is thinking of showing horses. Quality assurance registration is due May 17, with the training on June 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Broken Bow Municipal Building. Anyone interested in showing sheep, goats, rabbits, beef, and poultry are required to attend quality assurance. On June 15, 2023, livestock tags are due.

Make sure to finish up enrollment so that the club can pay the fees. Some of the community service projects that have been voted on are cleaning tables and chairs at the community center in Callaway. We will also partake in cleaning up the flowers at the Arnold cemetery from Memorial Day.

The next meeting will be Sunday, May 21, at 7:00 p.m. at the Callaway Senior Center. Please show up at 6:00 p.m. so that we can clean the Senior Center to thank them for letting us use the building to hold our meetings.
