Callaway 2nd and 3rd grade students were given a unique hands-on learning opportunity last week, planning and constructing a shelter. The object was for the students to build a shelter that would protect their family from a rainstrom in the wilderness. The students were given a set budget and time frame to complete their projects. The 2nd grade teacher at Callaway Elementary is Crysta Anderson and Kaylee Brogan teaches 3rd grade.
