Our meeting was held at the American Legion Hall on Feb. 25, 2022, at 6:30. We opened in normal procedure with the prayer, Star Spangled Banner, Pledge of Allegiance and our Auxiliary Preamble. We read the minutes of the last meeting. MaryAnn read the Treasurers report and everything stands approved.

Doug Boldt will make more clips for the Christmas wreaths. We also need to check on the placement of the military emblems to make sure they are all in the right spots at the cemetery.

Jo had a bill for the back packs which we had already presented to Healing Hearts on Feb. 9. The people in charge of Healing Hearts were very grateful for our donations.

Girls State applications are due now. We had to judge these applications now because they needed to be at the Department by March 1. We picked our Girls State Representative, Taylor Ross, and our alternate is Jocelyn Bailey. Their applications will be submitted to our department heads.

Americanism Essays are due to the school by March 4 and we will need to get together to judge them so the winners can be received by the department heads by March 14. Poppy Posters are due by March 14; we will judge these and submit them to the department by April15.

We will host a Legion Birthday Party, the date will be announced at a later time.
