Each year on March 29 Vietnam Veterans are recognized on National Vietnam War Veterans Day. It's a time to pay special tribute to the 9 million American men and women who served, the 58,000 names memorialized on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC, and to those who never received the recognition they deserved when they returned home from war.

The Callaway American Legion Auxiliary Unit 59 would like to honor all Vietnam-era veterans for their service on National Vietnam War Veterans Day. To our Vietnam Veterans we offer a sincere 'Thank You' for your courage, for the scars you carry, and for defending our rights. Your sacrifices have not gone unnoticed and may you always know how appreciated you are. God Bless Our Veterans!
