Monthly Auxiliary Meeting

Posted in:
Body

We find ourselves in a rather different situation.

Our regular meeting which was scheduled for the third Monday of the month had to be postponed due to a funeral which involved several members. We rescheduled our meeting for Wednesday, May 29. Not sure why but we ended up with not enough members to have an official meeting. So we just discussed several things that were on schedule for this month.

MaryAnn and Jo did make it up to the school to hand out supplies that we purchased for the classes that were in need of them. We also passed out Poppy Posters, Americanism Essays, and the Certificates that the students earned for working so hard on their projects.

June 20-23 is the Department Convention in Kearney. Friday it starts at 8:30 a.m., Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and Sunday it will start at 9:00 a.m. They are looking for volunteers to help sign people up.

Our next meeting will be June 17. At that meeting, we can discuss the Pioneer Picnic. In the meantime, Jo will order things to pass out at the parade. We need to order around 200 items or more whichever seems to be more cost effective. We will carry our banner and walk behind the Colorguard to pass out the items we order.

This is all that we discussed here tonight. See you all at the next meeting.

Sincerely, Eileen Wilson
