The South Loup 4-H club met in Callaway at the Senior Center on Feb. 15th, 2024. The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m.

Updates that the organization leaders reported were that enrollment is due June 1, 2024. A committee for making new signage for the fair consists of Titus Coleman, Riata Remund, and Addie Dalrymple.

The speech contest will be held on April 1, 2024, in Broken Bow at the 4-H Building. The new shooting sports leader for the club is Aaron Coleman.

Mike Lemkuhler will no longer be in charge of the dog group but is willing to help out if needed. Sue Stratton will be stepping down from horses and a new leader is needed.

During the meeting, Riata Remund gave us a presentation about her experience at National Shooting Sports.

There are many volunteer projects that we complete as a club and a committee is needed to help be in charge of coming up with projects that can be done throughout both Arnold and Callaway. The committee consists of Eli Rogers, Rae Hagler, and Delanie Weinman.

At the next meeting, Claire Kulp will be doing a presentation about how to wash chickens. The next meeting will be in Arnold at the United Methodist Church at 7:00 p.m. on April 6th, 2024
