The 33rd Annual Kolbo Family reunion was held at the Callaway Senior Center in Callaway on Sunday, Oct. 9. Hosting were daughters of Janice Loghry, Mitzi Graham and Dawn Hiatt and families. A covered dish dinner was served to 25 family members.

A memorial tribute to family members who have passed away during the past year was read. Those family members who passed through the year were Gwen (Kalous) Blythe, granddaughter of Hilmer and Flossie Kolbo and Cherie Kolbo, wife of Russell Kolbo and his father was David Kolbo. The hosts had toys and games for the young ones. Family members present were Ron and Mitzi Graham and Dalia Torres of Lincoln; Marvin and Ramona Oehlerking of Murdock; Lucille Beshaler, Dawn Hiatt and Tim Hogg, Tim Hiatt and Noah, Janice Loghry and Raymond Kolbo all of Callaway; Roberta Nansel of Grand Island; Gaylene Rudy of Aurora; Donna Christianson of Cozad; Tony Kolbo and Jim Kolbo of Kearney and Jim's family, Daniel Kolbo, Philip Kolbo, and Beatrix Hillmer of Fort Calhoun and Blair; Norval Kolbo of Gothenburg; Leann McFarland, Brooks and Whitt of Eddyville, and Bernita Meads of Overton.

An afternoon of visiting was enjoyed by all. We will be together again on Oct. 8, 2023.
