Custer County Sheriff Dan Osmond reports that as of Nov. 17, 2025, there are six males and one female incarcerated in the Custer County Jail.

Preston Jarod Foster - booked Nov. 4; serving sentence for driving under the influence, 3rd offense.

Richard Joseph Kamarad - booked Aug. 19, 2025; serving sentence for possession of a controlled substance Lawrence Allen Millspaugh - booked Sept. 26, 2024; awaiting pretrial on two felony counts of 1st degree sexual assault of a child, and two counts of Class 3 felony cruelty toward a child. There is no bail.

Christopher Eugene Muggy - booked Sept. 23, 2025; awaiting pretrial on one count of domestic assault, a Class 1 misdemeanor, and one count of possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony.

Sam Gary Payton - booked Nov. 11; serving sentence for terroristic threats.

Jeffery Bruce Plumb - booked Aug. 11; awaiting pretrial for possession of a controlled substance.

Terri Lynn Jorgenson - booked Aug. 8; awaiting pretrial for felony contempt of court.
