One of the highlights of any town celebration is the parade, and the Callaway Pioneer Picnic is no excepton. Entries for the parade line up in front of the school on Saturday, June 29, and made their way down Kimball Street to the awaiting audience - particularly the kids clamoring for candy thrown from the passing floats and vehicles!

The parade is sponsored by the Callaway Chamber of Commerce who named the following category winners for the 2024 Pioneer Picnic Parade: Youngest Participant Theodore, age 8 months Oldest Participant Glen Weinman in a 1974 Ford Best Themed Float American Legion Auxiliary Best Church Entry - St. Boniface Catholic Church Best Tractor - Daryl Fahnholz with an Oliver 1650 Best Car - RT Green with a 2019 Dodge Challenger Best Horse - Brandi Coons riding Eclipse Best Bike - Brayden Keeney Thank you to all our entries.
