Everyone is invited to come out to Morning Star Church this Saturday, Aug. 16, at 7:30 p.m. for a fun evening filed with dessert, ice cream and music!

The members of Morning Star will have lots of homemade ice cream and favorite desserts on hand for those who attend. Music will be provided by Pastor Mike Garner, who will be releasing a brand new CD the night of the event, as well as musical guests The Foresters from Nashville, Tennessee.

Mark Forester, along with his wife Andrea and sons Tyler and Trevor, travel America on the evangelistic field around 150 days a year, combining just the right amount of music, word and entertainment. Their music is mostly performed with live instruments, and vary in style from country & Southern Gospel, to worship and praise. There really isn’t a style that they don’t cover while they’re on the stage.

Mark, who began a solo ministry well over 30 years ago, is also a very effective preacher of the Gospel. The Foresters take their calling to ministry very seriously, and work diligently to hone their craft, and be the very best that they can be. Whether it’s learning new songs for a tour or album, or simply singing or preaching in a church service somewhere across the country, they always strive to represent the Gospel and who they serve in a first-class manner. They make sure that every service is bathed in prayer and seeking God’s will every time they have the opportunity to stand on the stage. Their music will offer something for everyone, no matter their taste. Saturday night will prove to be a fun night of fellowship for the folks who attend!

On Sunday morning at 10:30, the Foresters will be providing the music for the service, and Mark will take the pulpit to preach the Word. And, who doesn’t love homemade ice cream and desserts? Combine those with the fellowship of God’s people, and it will be an evening to remember!
