As of April 22, 2024, there were 9 males and no females lodged in the Custer County Jail. County Sheriff Dan Osmond reports the following inmates: Courtney Jay Alspaugh - booked April 19 for assault-domestic violence, Class 1 misdemeanor; use of a weapon to commit a felony, Class 2 felony; and terroristic threats, Class 2 felony. No bond has been set.

Cooper Thomas Brass - booked Feb. 23 on one count of procuring for a minor or mentally incompetent person, a Class 1 misdemeanor, and one count of 1st degree sexual assault, a Class 2 felony. Bond was set at $150,000 Dustin James Farritor - sentenced April 8 on various traffic offenses James Aaron Hendrickson - sentenced on April 9 for obstructing a peace officer, and driving under the influence of liquor.

Clint James Howard - sentenced Feb. 5 for driving under the influence of liquor, 3rd offense, a Class 3 felony.

Matthew Glenn McAlevy - booked March 9 for driving while revoked, a Class 4 felony, and driving under the influence of liquor, 4th offense or greater, a Class 3 felony.

Wesley Alan Mead - booked May 3, 2023, for 1st degree sexual assault Steven A. Olson - booked March 28 for criminal mischief, a misdemeanor; resisting arrest, a Class 1 misdemeanor; use of a weapon to commit a felony, a Class 2 felony; and terroristic threats, a Class 3 felony.

Timothy Allen Rosentrater - booked Feb. 9 for 1st degree sexual assault.
