For the first time in nearly five years Callaway District Hospital hosted a Health Fair, and it was a great success. 'It just needed to be brought back to life,' said hospital CFO Cassie Penn. 'It's a great way to let people know the access they have to healthcare here.'

This was the first time organizing the event for at least thee of the four of the Callaway District Hospital employees - Cassie Penn, Kellsy Beshaler, Janel Brestel, and Kelly Herbig. There were 20 vendors at the Health Fair which was held on July 18 in the Community Center.

'The goal of the health fair is to let the community know all of the resources we have available in the area,' Herbig explained.

'We're just trying to promote health and wellness in our community,' Penn added.
