The American Legion Auxiliary of Callaway Unit 59 awarded certificates of participation to the members of the Callaway High School choir for singing the National Anthem at all the sporting events at the school. The junior high students were given flag pins for their singing of the National Anthem at the Veterans Day program. (Photos courtesy Mary Ann Boldt) We will have more Auxiliary Award photos in the June 12 issue of the Callaway Courier.

The Auxiliary presented a Good Deed Award that was submitted to the National Organization to Angel Johnson for her community project of painting the Methodist Church symbol. Her sister Tiersa was awarded a Citation for Meritorious Service for helping with the painting.
