Public Invited to Night of BBQ

The public is invited to a BBQ competition hosted by the Sons of the American Legion Squad 59 on Saturday, May 3, at Henry’s Bar. The competition is limited to 10 teams, each consisting of two cookers. The competition will open up for public eating at 5:30 p.m., for a free-will donation.

Story Time at the Library

The Nigel Sprouse Memorial Library is hosting a Children’s Story Time every Wednesday throughout the month of May. The story time will be held from 10-10:30 a.m. each week for children from birth to age three. However, parents are invited to bring their older children along as well. There will be fun for all!

Community Blood Drive

A blood drive will be held on Thursday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Callaway Community Center.
