Give Blood, Help Save Lives

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive in Callaway at the Community Center on Monday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If you are an eligible type O, B-, or A- donor, consider maximizing your blood donation and helping more patients by making a Power Red donation. Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component.

Get Ready For Trunk or Treat

Mark your calendars for Thursday, Oct. 31, for the annual Trunk or Treat in downtown Callaway. The event will be held from 4-5 p.m. and awards will be given for Best Trunk! Callaway Boosters will be giving away hotdogs, chips and a drink.

Businesses, organizations, residents, and community members are all invited! This event is sponsored by First Interstate Bank.

One Box Past Shooter Registration Open

Past Shooter registration is now open for the 64th Nebraska One Box Pheasant Hunt. Just like last year there is an online registration option available at https:// www.nebraskaonebox.com/registration/past-shooter. The deadline to register is Oct. 15. This year’s Co-Chairmen are Andy Taylor and Jason Sidel.
