Blast From The Past
50 YEARS AGO:
25 YEARS AGO:
Street signs to mark Callaway’s intersections have arrived and are ready for installation, but funds are currently lacking to buy the poles needed for mounting them. It is hoped that residents of the community will help make the street sign project a reality by offering to purchase poles so that the signs may be installed soon. The cost per pole is $10.
The Callaway Educational Association has installed the spring horses in Morgan Park.
The two horses were purchased by the Colverette 4-H Club.
Graduation ceremonies are set for Sunday, May 13, for the 16 members of the Callaway High School Class of 2001. They are: Matt Birnie, Roy Callahan, Mickey Chan, Leif Chesley, Michael Copper, Kendal Dodge, Cesar Hernande, Travor Myers, Marilyn Oman, Jodi Pandorf, Leah Paulsen, Chris Phelps, Leslie Rigler, Ed Saighman, Lance Smith, and Matt Wilson.
