The Callaway Legion Consignment Sale will be held March 20, due to the bad weather last weekend. The Legion Auxiliary members will serve yum-yums, pie, and coffee at the Legion Hall during the event.

The Stop Table Go-Getters 4–H Club has decided to have a bake sale, with the money to be contributed to the fund for new hospital beds for the Callaway Hospital. It will be held on March 20 at Leo’s Market.

The Callaway Board of Education and administration spent a lot of time in closed session to discuss how it might deal with teacher salary increase proposals should one pass the state legislature this session.

Four members of the Callaway High School speech team qualified for the state meet during the District D2-7 contest on March 6. They are seniors Leslie Rigler, Matt Birnie, and Kendal Dodge, and sophomore Jessica Province.
