Bank Employees Efforts Pay Off For The Village
Employees of The First Interstate Bank of Callaway submitted a grant application recently from the First Interstate Bank Foundation for assistance with the wind storm cleanup. The bank foundation granted them $5,000 for that purpose. The funds must be run through a 501 (C) (3) In order to be dispersed. That's where the Callaway Community Foundation comes in.
The bank foundation will release the funds to the Callaway Foundation, which will turn around and give them to the Village. It really is a joint effort for the community of Callaway!
Pictured from left are Callaway Foundation members, Christie Pitkin and Jenn Hickenbottom, Village Board members Ken Pitkin and Lawrence Paulsen, Callaway Foundation member Carla Kimball, bank employee Kelsey Wycoff, bank employee and Foundation member Kate Carlson, and Village Board member Dan Lewandowski.
Thank you to all of these local entities for making the acquisition and dispersal of these recovery funds happen!
